Updates in Naviate Structure. Highlights includes improvements to BVBS Export and updated BVBS Code.

Naviate Structure September Release 2021

BVBS Export (2020.1.7 and 2021.1.2)

Improved export

Improved export of rebar shape geometry to follow the latest BVBS standard.

For Rebar Shapes with only standard bending radius, dimensions (geometry) in BVBS geometry block are exported as total length dimensions:

For rebar shapes that have “defined "radius, dimensions (geometry) in BVBS geometry block are exported as combination of straight part of rebar segment and defined radius (inner radius):

Excluded elements

Reinforcement elements that don’t need to go through cut & bend process are now Excluded from BVBS export. This include rebar shapes with Continuous Length and Rebars with Coupler. 3D rebar shapes are still not supported in BVBS export.

Update BVBS Code (2020.1.7 and 2021.1.2)

Added a new parameter with quantity set to one to support IFC Export.

We have added the new parameter “NVBVBSCodeIFC” to better support exporting reinforcement to IFC format. “NVBVBSCodeIFC” is updated for each reinforcement element in project and it always has value 1 for n (quantity).

Bug fixes (2020.1.7 and 2021.1.2)

We have fixed the following issues:

  • Select Rebar: Removed error message when selecting elements that are not host or rebar
  • Pile Insertion: Improved workflow of assigning parameters to corresponding values (columns)
  • Cut Length: Fixed issue updating Structural Columns
