Updates in Structure. Highlights includes the new feature Cut Lenght and improvements to Trim to Opening.

Changes available in version 2023.1.4

Cut Length

Added new Shared parameters that calculate the width and height of Beams and Columns in the project.

You can now use Cut Length to also create/update parameters for the width and height of Beams and Columns in your project. It will create/update Shared parameters of type distance, that can be used to tag the objects with width and height or list the dimensions in a schedule.

Default created parameters are NVCutLX and NVCutLY, as Cut Length is part of the Parameter Configuration, you can choose to use any other shared parameter from your project that is by type distance parameter:

Openings / Trim to opening

Renamed from Openings to Trim to opening and improved workflow to be able to trim rebar around the opening in any view.

We have Renamed the tool from Openings to Trim to opening, and improved performance and user experience by allowing you to use a tool from any view.

We have made the following improvements:

  • You are now able to trim/split rebar around the opening in any view, just by selecting an opening in the wall, floor, or slab.
  • After the trim, reinforcement is constrained to opening faces and will adjust if the opening size is changed or if the opening is slightly moved.
  • You are now able to trim rebar around circular openings.

Fixes

  • Pile Numbering: Fixed issue with performance in projects with a complex structural model.
