Naviate Assistant

Naviate Assistant - Help

Naviate Assistant transforms onboarding and daily support by bringing clear, contextual guidance directly into Revit. Instead of interrupting their workflow to search for answers elsewhere, users can access help exactly when they need it, making it faster and easier to learn features, complete tasks correctly, and become productive with greater confidence.

Help provides step-by-step instructions inside Revit, allowing users to follow a guided process without leaving the application. It also includes direct links to the relevant documentation in Pinnacle, our central learning platform, so users can quickly access deeper explanations, supporting material, and structured learning content whenever they need it.

Naviate Assistant - Actions

Naviate Assistant Actions enables users to run individual or chained Naviate actions directly on the model, helping automate repetitive tasks and streamline common workflows in Revit. By combining multiple actions into a single guided process, users can work more efficiently, reduce manual effort, and achieve more consistent results across their projects.

The video demonstrates how Actions can be used in practice to perform model updates quickly and accurately through automated workflows. In this example, the workflow automatically dimensions all grids, identifies all rooms named “shaft,” and then renames them to “Service” using the Find and Replace actions. This shows how users can make multiple model adjustments in a single sequence, saving time and improving consistency.

Naviate Assistant in Naviate Zero

Naviate Assistant in Zero helps users make more informed material decisions directly in Revit by turning complex environmental documentation into a more accessible and practical part of the design workflow.

Across these three workflows, the assistant helps users search, filter, compare, and understand environmental product data without leaving Revit. This makes it easier to work with large volumes of documentation, different file formats, and multiple languages while reducing the time and expertise normally required to find relevant information and apply it in practice.

With access to more than 200,000 resources from an extensive library, users can connect model elements to relevant materials and EPDs, compare alternatives, and better understand the carbon impact of their design choices. By bringing this capability into the BIM workflow, the assistant supports faster decisions, more consistent evaluations, and a clearer path to lower-carbon design outcomes.

Assistant Search & Find Similar

Search for a material such as structural concrete C45 and immediately receive a ranked set of relevant EPD results. The assistant helps surface the most suitable options, including those with lower embodied carbon, making it easier to identify better-performing materials without manually reviewing large amounts of documentation. The Find Similar capability extends this further by locating comparable EPDs related to the selected result, helping users evaluate alternatives more efficiently and make better-informed sustainability decisions.
