Naviate Road for Civil 3D 2021.1 Release

Changes are only available in 21.1 and will be made available in 2019 and 2020 in a later version.

Navisworks-Views

Writes viewpoints from alignment/profile to an XML-file that then can be imported into Navisworks with Import Viewpoints. The target point can be on the alignment/profile or a fixed point.

Solids from Corridor: Write to file

There is now a possibility to write the solids to an external dwg-file. If the dwg-file exist you can Append to the file or Overwrite it.

Import Assemblies: Connect to/Disconnect

There is now a possibility to Disconnect an inserted Assembly from that source Assembly. You can also Connect an existing Assembly in your design drawing, to an Assembly in your Assembly folders, to later on make it update with changes from the new Source Assembly.

Import Corridor Settings

There are two new options when importing Slope Patterns. This is to fix an issue that the Civil 3D does not allow Naviate to set start station and end station values for slope patterns, outside of the first Baseline Alignment start and end station. To fix this Naviate extends the first Baseline Alignment start and end, to make the have the lowest start and the highest end station. This is only done if “Extend first Baseline Start/End Station” is selected and the extensions to the Alignment are removed after command is run unless “Keep extensions in first Baseline” is selected.

If “Extend first Baseline Start/End Station” is not selected, Manual Stations will be created and prompts on command window will guide the user of possible problems and fixes.

Note: This fix is not possible if Corridor/Alignment is Data shortcut. Then you need to run new command NVExtendAlignment in the Alignment-dwg to make the same changes there.

Also, option “Fillet radius” now handles changing of existing radiuses less than 1m.
