Naviate Daylight Features
Naviate Daylight brings Revit to a new higher performance level by providing automated daylight checking and decision support for your integrated BIM design.
Automates the calculation of the Daylight Factor, Luminance and Uniformity Ratio of each room in the project. It also provides various information about elements involved in the calculations, such as Rooms, Windows, Curtain Walls, and objects surrounding the building.
3D Visualisation factor
Once your Daylight calculations are finished, you can see a 3D visualisation.
Automates the calculation of Window to Floor and Window to Wall Ratios of each room in the project. The calculation methods and results vary depending on the selected calculation standards. It also provides various information about elements involved in the calculations, such as Rooms, Windows, Curtain Walls, and objects surrounding the building.
Window to floor ratio
With window-to-floor ratio you can see whether your rooms/areas/spaces meet your daylight Window-to-Floor Ratio requirements based on the selected calculation standard.
Window to wall ratio
With window-to-wall gives you an overview of the different facades of your building, categorized by orientation. In the drop-down menu at the top you can select all orientations or select a specific orientation. The table demonstrates the rooms with their names and the floor they are located.
You get an overview of the windows, such as DATA ABOUT Windows, Doors, and Curtain Walls.
3D visualisation ratio
By opening the visualization you are able to view a viewer like 3D visualization showing colours of the rooms meeting the daylight requirements (green) and not meeting requirements (red) of the rooms the daylight ratio (0% and up) of the walls with daylight ratio (0% and up).
Revit floor plan
For every floor level a new floor plan view will be created, and all rooms will be coloure with the daylight ratio (0% and up). Every floor plan will get a Naviate Daylight Legend showing the colours and matching daylight values.
A word document is generated with all Daylight data.
Create elevation and section view
In the window table, a Revit section or elevation view of the window can be created, including a window tag with the calculation results of the window. You can also do this for doors, curtain walls and others.
