The Landscape Design tools in Naviate for Civil 3D include methods for setting your own elevations and automatically create 3D surfaces from these, as well as tools around creating visualisation models. With Elevation editing tools, the elevations can be altered to specific slopes or elevation, or changed on the fly with your scroll wheel.

Caroline Tigersjö, Application Engineer, Naviate Civil 3D. She has a background as pipe designer and has worked for many years with support and adjusting Naviate for Civil 3D to do as she wants and not as the program wants. She succeeds most of the time.
Martin Olsén, Application Engineer, Naviate Civil 3D. Martin has a background as a surveyor at the construction company Skanska. As a surveyor Martin got tired of boring 2D drawing material and started working with 3D volume calculations and takeoff, which placed greater demands on Civil 3D and that's how he ended up at Symetri Infra.
