Naviate for Civil 3D 2026.1 Base release

Release news for Naviate Base. Highlights include update to 2026 and the new features Naviate Command List, Update Property Set, Report Object with Faulty Properties, Select Object without Property Set, Merge Property Set  and Property from Land XML in addition to an update on Rename Layers.

Naviate for Civil 3D 2026 is released! This version works on the Civil 3D 2026 platform. To see all the new features in Civil 3D 2026 please read more about that here.

Naviate Command List

Naviate Command List is a window displaying all of Naviates Commands in a searchable list. Commands can be added to your own command list file and you can add your own name for the command. Commands can be started from the list and it can remain open while you work.

Update Property Set

Update Property Set is a new feature that can update a property set in the drawing from an orginal property set XML-file. The command can add and/or remove properties from the existing property set and reports what it has done.  

Report Objects with Faulty Properties

Report Objects with Faulty Properties will search through the file and select or report all objects that doesn’t have a specified value in a set Property The correct properties can be entered manually or a list of approved values can be used. The command will report on the commandline all objects that are incorrect, and can also write to a file. 

Select Objects without Property Set

Select Objects without Property Set will find and report all objects that doesn’t have a specific or any property set.

These three commands, Update Property Set, Report Objects with Faulty Properties and Select objects without Property Set can all be run in a script and can report to the same report file.

Merge Property Set

Merge Property Set is a new command that can merge property sets that have been multiplied in error.  

Property from LandXML

Property From LandXML imports Topocad attributes for cogo points and 3D Polylines that was imported from an LandXML-file and adds the attributes as Property Set Data 

Rename Layers

Rename Layers has been updated with a dialog, and can now rename between multiple codes.  Each code is stored in the Layer Description with the format: #name:code  
After a rename has been done, the description can be truncated before the first code string.
